Stacie-Rae

Hey! I’m Stacie Rae. I’ve been in love with tattooing since getting a 'jailhouse style' tattoo at 14 and started hanging around the local tattoo shop. I went to art school at 18, and I’ve been in love ever since.

Tattooing scars since 1998, it’s been my mission to raise the standards of the industry for paramedical tattoos since cancer came into my life in 2006.

Having been there myself, I can confidently say no one knows more about breast cancer and scar tattooing than me - As a subject matter expert, my mission in life is to help breast cancer survivors get great work. I do that by helping tattooists do great work! The key to mastery is mentorship so we created a program ANYONE can join!

Nicole Rizzuto

I’m Nicole, a licensed Tattoo artists and Certified Surgical Technologist. I started my traditional tattoo career at the age of 22 and transitioned to the medical field after my own battle with kidney cancer.

As a surgical tech, I assist with hundred of surgeries. My love for medicine and my tattoo skills brought me to the path of my current medical tattooing career. As I grew in my skills, I saw that the access to professional training with both medical and tattoo education was lacking.

Luckily, I connected with Stacie-Rae and ART and found great guidance for tattooing. We came to be aware that there was no great education of the medical side for artists.

Teaching the curriculum live in the style of college level teaching sparked the flame of my love for teaching again. To know that artists will have professional level training with in depth subject matter is a industry game changer.

It is my honor to help other artists who may not have access to give them the opportunity to elevate their education.

Becky Barker

I’m Becky Barker from the UK. I apprenticed as a tattoo artist in Micky Sharpz old shop in Birmingham in 2008, and have worked in various studio throughout the UK. I moved into medical tattooing in 2019, and quickly realized how much the training available was lacking.

Then I discovered A.R.T and Stacie-Rae was kind enough to become my mentor. We created the worlds first survey to determine how poor tattooing can lead to detrimental mental health in clients.

This led me to be selected as a speaker at TedX Malvern in 2021, which then got promoted to an official TED talk and has been viewed 1.5 million times! My mission is to protect tattooing by bringing awareness to the need of standards in our work. I am passionate about helping artists build a good foundational knowledge of tattooing, so that they can consistently provide great results long term.
